ഹൃദയബന്ധം
ബാംഗ്ലൂരില്‍ ജോലിയുള്ള ഒരേയൊരു മകന്‍ വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കുശേഷം അവധിക്കായെത്തുന്നുവെന്ന വാര്‍ത്ത അവരെ ഏറെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിച്ചു. വൃദ്ധരായ തങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കൂട്ടായി അവനെന്നുമുണ്ടാവണമെന്ന ആഗ്രഹം മകന്‍റെ ഭാവിക്ക് തടസ്സമാവുമെന്നതിനാല്‍ മറ്റെല്ലാ മാതാപിതാക്കളേയും പോലെ അവരും മാറ്റിവെച്ചു. ഒടുവില്‍ കാത്തിരിപ്പിനൊടുവില്‍ വീട്ടിലെത്തിയ മകന്‍ തികച്ചും അപരിചിതനെന്ന പോലെ പെരുമാറിയപ്പോള്‍ നൊമ്പരം ഉള്ളിലൊതുക്കി തങ്ങളാലാവുംവിധം അവനായി അവര്‍ സൗകര്യമൊരുക്കി. അന്നുരാത്രി ഏറെ വൈകിയിട്ടും ഉറക്കം വരാതെ ഫോണുമായി വീടിനകത്തും പുറത്തും ചുറ്റിക്കറങ്ങിയ അയാളുടെ ഭാവമാറ്റം അവരെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തി. പിന്നേറ്റ് നേരംപുലര്‍ന്നപ്പോള്‍ തിരികെ പോവാന്‍ തയ്യാറാവുന്ന മകനെ കണ്ട് കാരണം തിരക്കിയ അവരോട്, ഫോണില്‍ റെയിഞ്ചോ, ഇന്‍റര്‍നെറ്റ് കണക്ഷനോ കിട്ടാത്ത ഈ നശിച്ച നാട്ടിലേക്ക് ഇനിയില്ലായെന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് നടന്നകലുന്ന മകനെ നിറകണ്ണുകളോടെ അവര്‍ നോക്കി നിന്നു.

Heart connection
They were overjoyed to hear that their only son, who was working in Bangalore, was going on vacation years later. Like all other parents, they put aside their desire to have him with them as they grow older, which could jeopardize their son's future. When the son finally arrived home at the end of the wait and behaved as if he were a complete stranger, they calmed him down and arranged for him as best they could. It was very late that night and he could not sleep and went inside and outside the house with his phone The change of expression on his face frightened them. When they found their son ready to go back in the early hours of the morning, they stared at him, staring blankly at his son, who was walking away, saying that he was no longer in this ruined country where he had no phone or internet connection.
